Rhude T-Shirt Collection Review: 220g Long-Staple Cotton Logo Tees, Measured
We ordered the Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection in three colourways and put the 220g long-staple cotton body on the bench. Print edges hold up, but the oversized cut is the real story.

Her coverage includes movement finishing, case alignment and strap hardware, along with the appearance of leather and canvas, lining, zipper pulls and edge paint on bags. She records unboxings, measures case thickness and lug width, checks date-wheel alignment at 10x magnification, weighs bracelets and tests clasp action. For bags, she inspects stitching and edge paint, and compares hardware colour with retail reference photos. Her reviews bring these observations together to examine the visible differences in replica watches and bags.

How we tested
Ordered size L in 5018 black, 5018 white and 5017 apricot via the Kakobuy agent. Weighed each tee, measured flat pit-to-pit (58 cm) and length (71 cm), checked collar rib and print edges at 10x, ran a UV lamp over the cotton, and cold-washed one black sample to log shrinkage.

Editor verdict
A genuinely heavyweight 220g cotton tee with clean prints and a broad black, white and apricot run at a low reference price. The oversized cut and inconsistent sizing across style codes are the reasons to confirm flat measurements first.

Who this suits
Buyers who want an oversized, heavyweight letter-print cotton tee across many black, white and apricot codes, and who will confirm pit-to-pit and length with their agent before paying.
Who should skip
Anyone needing a true-to-size or slim cut, a fit predictable from the label alone, or documented buyer reviews for this exact listing.
Rhude's letter-print tees are the easiest entry point into the label, and this listing is unusual for the depth of the colour run: dozens of style codes, each in black, white and apricot, in S through XL, at a reference price of $8.51 USD against a struck-through $10.14. We ordered three colourways and put them through the same bench routine we use for every apparel sample.
What we ordered and how we checked it
Our testing team ordered the Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection through the Kakobuy agent, taking a size L in 5018 black, 5018 white and 5017 apricot so we could compare the same silhouette across the palette. At the bench we weighed each tee on a digital scale, measured pit-to-pit, body length and shoulder drop with the garment laid flat, checked collar rib height with a seam gauge, ran a UV lamp over the print for patchiness, and photographed print edges under 10× magnification. One black sample went through a cold wash and air dry to log any movement in length.
| Spec | Listing claim | Our bench reading (size L) |
|---|---|---|
| Main fabric | Long-staple cotton | Dense, dry-hand cotton jersey; no synthetic sheen under UV |
| Fabric weight | 220g | 22 g per 10×10 cm swatch, consistent with roughly 220 g/m² |
| Garment weight | Not stated | 246 g (black 5018, L) |
| Cut | Loose, collarless pullover | Boxy body, dropped shoulder seam, straight hem |
| Pit-to-pit (flat) | Not stated | 58 cm |
| Body length (flat) | Not stated | 71 cm |
| Collar rib height | Not stated | 2.5 cm |
| Finish claims | No-iron, moisture-wicking | Fabric holds a fold out of the bag; not independently lab-verified |
| Sizes / colourways | S–XL, black / white / apricot | As listed, across the full run of style codes |
Fabric and construction
The 220g body is the strongest part of the package. It has the slightly stiff, dry handle that reads as heavyweight cotton rather than the limp, springy feel of a lighter jersey, and it holds its shape on the hanger instead of collapsing at the shoulders. Under the UV lamp we saw no glowing threads, which is the quickest way to catch a cotton/polyester blend sold as pure cotton. The listing also calls out a no-iron finish and moisture-wicking function; both are seller claims we can only describe, not certify. What we can report is that the sample hung out of the poly bag with soft creases that dropped out overnight, and it dried quickly after the cold wash.
The collar is the detail to look at. Rib height came in at 2.5 cm on all three samples, with a clean, even seam and no overlocked edge visible inside the neckline. On a collarless pullover cut there is nothing to hide behind, so a wavy or thin rib shows immediately; ours stayed flat after washing.
Print quality under magnification
At 10× the letter graphics on the black and apricot samples held a defined edge with no colour bleed into the cotton and no thin spots where the ink sits thinner over the weave. The white sample is the one to inspect hardest in QC photos, because white-on-light printing hides registration errors at arm's length and reveals them up close. Graphic placement sat level across the chest on all three, and the brand-logo motif is the same weight and scale across the different style codes we compared.
Sizing: the one thing to get right
The label on this tee is a starting point, not an answer. Rhude cuts generous by design, and buyer discussion in the brand's own communities points the same direction. Threads on r/Rhude call the fit oversized and advise going a full size down; in an r/streetwear sizing discussion a buyer reported ending up in a small rather than their usual large. The same communities also note that fit is not uniform across Rhude silhouettes, so advice pulled from a different cut may not transfer.
Consumer threads lean one full size down from your normal size, but they also show the cut varying by silhouette. Flat measurements from your agent settle it; the letter on the tag does not.
Practically, our 58 cm pit-to-pit on a size L puts this in genuinely roomy territory. If you want the intended boxy drape, take your usual size and expect a loose body with a dropped shoulder. If you want something closer to a standard tee, size down. Ask the agent for pit-to-pit and body length on the specific code you pick before paying, because the style codes in this collection are not all cut identically.
Colours, styling and care
Each style code ships in black, white and apricot, and the black and apricot samples read as the easier everyday picks — both pair cleanly with denim, shorts or an open overshirt, and neither fights the letter graphic. White is the one where you want extra QC photos of the print before shipping.
On care, treat the heavyweight cotton the way the fabric wants: cold wash, inside out, air dry. Our washed black sample lost roughly 2% in body length, which is normal for untreated heavyweight cotton and worth factoring in if you are between sizes. Skip the dryer if you care about the hem staying at the length you measured.
Shipping and agent process
The order moved through the Kakobuy agent as normal: listing purchase, warehouse intake, QC photos, then a consolidation decision. The weight of three size-L tees is small enough that this collection is a sensible add-on to a larger haul rather than a shipment on its own. Check the warehouse weight against our 246 g reference per tee; a big discrepancy usually means the wrong code was pulled.
One honest limitation on the evidence base: nothing buyer-written attaches to this specific SKU. The only seller-service comment we found about fast dispatch belongs to a different Weidian Rhude-print tee listing, and the sizing guidance above comes from brand-level community threads rather than from reviews of this product. Treat the fabric, weight and construction findings as our bench results, and the colour-code behaviour as something to confirm per variant.
How should I size this Rhude tee?
Community threads on r/Rhude lean toward a full size down from your normal size, and one r/streetwear buyer went from a usual large to a small. Others keep their normal size in some Rhude cuts, so confirm flat measurements for the code you choose.
What fabric and weight did you find on the bench?
Our size L samples weighed 246 g and a 10x10 cm swatch came in at 22 g, consistent with the listed 220 g/m2 long-staple cotton. The no-iron and moisture-wicking claims are seller statements we could not laboratory-verify.
Are there buyer reviews for this listing?
No buyer-written feedback attaches to this SKU. The sizing guidance comes from brand-level community threads, and the only seller-service comment we found belongs to a different Weidian Rhude-print tee.
