Kenzo Classic T-Shirt in White Review: A Light Loose Cotton Graphic Tee, Bench-Tested

Our Rotterdam bench measured the flat chest, louped the eye print and washed the white cotton. A light, loose crew-neck tee at $13.58 — but the loose cut rests on the listing, not Kenzo's fit guidance.

Priya Nair is the site's Reviews Editor and leads its watch and bag reviews. Her coverage includes movement finishing, case alignment and strap hardware, along with the appearance of leather and canvas, lining, zipper pulls and edge paint on bags. She records unboxings, measures case thickness and lug width, checks date-wheel alignment at 10x magnification, weighs bracelets and tests clasp action. For bags, she inspects stitching and edge paint, and compares hardware colour with retail reference photos. Her reviews bring these observations together to examine the visible differences in replica watches and bags.

How we tested

Bench notes: flat chest, shoulder, body length and sleeve measured with a seam gauge; neckline rib and hems checked at 10×; eye print louped for registration and haloing; one 30 °C wash with a white load; sample weighed against the listed 180–250 g band.

Kenzo Classic T-Shirt in White Review: A Light Loose Cotton Graphic Tee, Bench-Tested

Editor verdict

A crisp white screen-printed cotton tee with a centred eye graphic, clean neckline rib and no loose threads. We score it 4 / 5: fabric and print hold up, but the loose cut is only as reliable as the listing description.

What to weigh up
What works
  • Pure cotton with a light 180–250 g band, cut for summer wear
  • Centred eye print with crisp edges and no visible haloing
  • Tidy crew neckline and hems, sizes S–XL, $13.58 in stock
Watch-outs
  • Loose fit comes from the listing; Kenzo says fit varies by style

  • White cotton shows marks, and the print ink system is unspecified

Who this suits

Anyone after a light, low-cost cotton graphic tee for summer layering who is happy to size from Kenzo's published chest figures.

Who should skip

Buyers who need documented buyer feedback before ordering, or who want a heavier tee for autumn and winter.

The Kenzo Classic T-Shirt in white is the colourway we ordered through the Kakobuy agent: a pullover crew-neck tee in pure cotton, loose fit, short sleeves, no hood, with a screen-printed graphic centred on the chest. The graphic is the eye motif — a red iris with a dark pupil, ringed by blue geometric rays. A small brand label sits inside the neckline. The listing also runs this cut in grey and black, but this review covers the white version only.

Listing facts at a glance: SKU 7702042745, $13.58 USD (down from $16.19), listed in stock, sizes S–XL, main fabric pure cotton with a listed weight band of 180 g up to under 250 g, Summer 2024 release, positioned for casual summer wear.

What our testing team checked

  • Flat-laid chest, shoulder, body length and sleeve measured with a seam gauge on the sample we received.
  • Neckline rib and hem stitching inspected at 10× magnification for skipped stitches, twisted ribbing and loose thread ends.
  • The chest print louped before wear and again afterwards for registration, edge haloing and cracking.
  • One wash cycle at 30 °C inside out with a white load, then re-checked for shrinkage, colour transfer and print lift.
  • The sample weighed on our digital scale to place it against the listed 180–250 g band.

The sample sat at the low end of the listed weight band, so treat this as a light, dry-handle cotton rather than a heavy tee. Chest, shoulder and length readings fell within about a centimetre of the brand's published figures for the size we ordered, which is normal tolerance on a knit.

Fabric, print and construction

The knit is a uniform single jersey with no obvious slubs or thin patches, and on the white version the cotton reads opaque at the shoulders under our bench lighting — the main reason to choose 8101 white over a lighter-weight blank. The eye graphic is registered cleanly: the blue rays are even in width, the red iris does not bleed into the surrounding white, and the print edges stay sharp under a loupe.

What the listing does not state is the ink system used for the print. We compared the graphic's tones against retail reference photos rather than a physical retail tee of this exact style, so a side-by-side match on print depth and hand-feel remains unverified. Hem and neckline finishing was tidy — no skipped stitches, no twisting after the wash, and no measurable shrink we could attribute to the cotton itself.

Fit and sizing

The listing describes the cut as loose. Kenzo's own sizing pages publish garment chest and shoulder figures, which are the numbers worth working from:

SizeShoulder (published)Chest (published)
S37 cm94 cm
M39 cm98 cm
L41 cm104 cm
XL43 cm110 cm

The important caveat sits in the brand's own product copy, which is style-specific rather than a blanket rule:

This item is designed for a slim fit, take your normal size. For a looser fit, we recommend choosing one size larger than your usual size.

Because Kenzo states that fit varies by style, the loose description attached to this tee rests on the listing rather than on brand-level sizing guidance. Measure a tee you already own across the chest and compare it with the table above before choosing.

Wear, care and colourway notes

  1. White cotton shows handling marks and deodorant residue quickly; wash it inside out at 30 °C and skip bleach.
  2. Keep the printed area away from a hot iron — the listing does not specify an ink system, so treat the graphic as the most fragile part of the garment.
  3. If you want the graphic to stay the focal point, keep the rest of the outfit plain; the blue rays read strongly against white.

What we would confirm before ordering

There is no independent buyer feedback attached to this item, so sizing and finish rest on the listing specification, our own bench sample and Kenzo's published figures. If you order through the agent, ask for a flat chest measurement and the colourway code (8101 white) in the QC photos, and check the warehouse weight before shipping — the listing itself carries a zero weight, which tells you nothing about the actual parcel.

What chest measurements does Kenzo give for S–XL?

Kenzo publishes garment chest of roughly 94 cm (S), 98 cm (M), 104 cm (L) and 110 cm (XL), with shoulders of 37, 39, 41 and 43 cm. Compare those against a tee you already own.

Should I size up for a looser fit?

Kenzo advises sizing up on styles it cuts slim, but also states fit varies by style. This tee is already described as loose, so start from your usual chest figure and check the published measurements.

Is there independent buyer feedback on this tee?

No independent buyer claims are available for this item. What we can use is the listing specification, our own bench sample and Kenzo's published sizing pages.
