ERD Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: 43 Colourways of the Face-Print Tee
We ordered the ERD multicolor T-shirt collection at $8.51 a piece, measured the loose-crew cotton tees flat, and compared print and wash variants before scoring them 4.2 / 5.

Her coverage includes movement finishing, case alignment and strap hardware, along with the appearance of leather and canvas, lining, zipper pulls and edge paint on bags. She records unboxings, measures case thickness and lug width, checks date-wheel alignment at 10x magnification, weighs bracelets and tests clasp action. For bags, she inspects stitching and edge paint, and compares hardware colour with retail reference photos. Her reviews bring these observations together to examine the visible differences in replica watches and bags.

How we tested
Ordered four variants — washed black, aged off-white, stone grey and one pocket build — then logged weight on the bench scale, flat chest and body length against ERD's size guide, neck-rib height, shoulder and hem stitch counts, and print edges at 10x magnification.

Editor verdict
A cheap, breathable pure-cotton loose tee with a clean face print and an unusually deep colour run. Ours measured generous against ERD's chart and the sleeve spec contradicts itself, so confirm measurements before ordering.

Who this suits
Buyers who want a light, loose summer tee with a graphic face print and will request flat measurements and tag close-ups from their agent before paying.
Who should skip
Anyone wanting a fitted cut, a heavyweight hand-feel, or sizing they can trust without asking the seller for measurements and QC photos first.
Most ERD tees on the rep tables show up as one graphic in two or three washes. This listing runs the other direction: a single face-print motif spread across more than 40 colourway names, sizes S through XXL, and an asking price of $8.51 after a markdown from $10.10. We ordered it through our Kakobuy agent and bench-checked the parcel in Rotterdam before writing this review.
What we ordered and how we tested
Our sample order covered a washed black, an aged off-white, a stone-grey, and one of the pocket variants so we could compare the two construction paths side by side. Every piece went through the same routine: laid flat on the bench, chest and body length with a tape, neck-rib height with a seam gauge, stitch density counted along the shoulder seam and hem, and the print inspected under 10x magnification for edge bleed and registration. We weighed each tee to sanity-check the 230–270 gsm claim, and compared hardware-free details such as the neck tag and wash tag against the reference points published in ERD authentication guides.

Cotton, weight and hand-feel
The fabric reads as a standard cotton single jersey with a dry, slightly crisp hand out of the bag that softens after the first wash. On the bench scale our pieces landed inside the advertised 230–270 gsm band, and the "ordinary thickness" description is accurate — this is a summer tee, not a heavyweight. Hold it to a lamp and there is a little show-through on the lighter off-white and stone-grey colourways, which is normal at this weight and worth knowing if you plan to wear it over a dark base layer. Breathability is genuine; the knit opens up without feeling papery.
Fit: where the listing and ERD's own chart disagree
ERD's published size guide puts a short-sleeve tee in size M at roughly a 42-inch chest and 28-inch body length. Laid flat, our size M came in at the generous end of the listing's stated 2 cm tolerance, and the body length ran slightly long for the standard loose cut. That matches the split in buyer feedback, where some ERD rep owners describe sizing as accurate and others say a piece arrived larger than expected. Practically: if you want a true-to-intent loose drape, take your normal size; if you want a closer shoulder line, size down and ask for measurements first. The dropped shoulder and wide hem read as intentional on the body rather than boxy.
The colour run, decoded
This is the reason the listing exists. The variant list contains more than 40 entries, and they cluster into recognisable families rather than 40 genuinely distinct colours:
- Flat and reactive blacks — the reactive-black and black entries, which are the cleanest reads of the face print.
- Aged off-whites and dirty whites — the several off-white codes, which carry the most visible variance between batches.
- Washed and blue-tinted blacks — softer, greyer grounds with a fade toward the shoulders and hem.
- Stone and deep greys — the coolest options in the run.
- Pocket variants — a small group with chest-pocket construction in reactive black, washed black and black-carbon colourways.
Because the sample photography is shot under warehouse lighting, the difference between two black entries can look larger on screen than in hand. Request a QC photo of the exact code in natural daylight if you are matching a specific wash.
Print, neckline and stitching
The face graphic is applied by printing and dyeing rather than a stitched or embroidered patch, and at 10x magnification our samples showed clean edges without the smeared halo you see on cheap plastisol work. The print sits flat with the fabric rather than on top of it, which suggests a lighter ink deposit that should flex with the knit instead of cracking early. Neck ribbing was even in height across the crew opening, and shoulder-to-shoulder stitch counts were consistent between the flat and pocket variants.
Authentication guidance for ERD flags lettering as the weak point on replicas: authentic text has even thickness throughout, while fakes show uneven or overly thick lettering.
We applied that check to the neck tag and wash tag. Lettering was uniform and the spacing held up, but we would not treat a tag as proof of anything — ERD is one of the most counterfeited high-street labels in circulation, and this listing makes no authenticity claims we can verify. Ask your agent for close-ups of both tags before you commit, and treat them as a consistency signal rather than a guarantee.
Price and value
At $8.51 before agent fees and international shipping, this sits at the bottom of the rep tee market. Set against what we measured — a real cotton jersey in the advertised weight band, an even print, and a wide choice of washes and pocket builds — the value is strong, provided you accept that it is a light summer tee and not a heavyweight staple. The markdown from $10.10 has been live for some time, so treat the current figure as the normal price rather than a temporary deal.
Ordering notes
- Confirm whether you are buying the flat tee or the pocket build; the codes look similar in the variant list.
- Ask for flat chest and length measurements in your chosen colourway, since the 2 cm tolerance cuts both ways.
- Request tags and print close-ups alongside standard QC photos, given how heavily ERD is replicated.
- Pick the colourway last — lighting in the listing photos flatters the black grounds more than the off-whites.
One spec note worth raising with your agent: the listing gives short sleeve under sleeve length but sleeveless under sleeve type. Our pieces were short-sleeve tees, but the two entries conflict, so confirm the construction if that detail matters to you.
What fabric and weight does the listing specify?
Pure cotton is named as the main fabric, with the knit described as cotton single jersey at 230–270 gsm, ordinary thickness, and breathable as the stated material function. Our bench weights fell inside that range.
The sleeve description looks contradictory — which is it?
The listing enters short sleeve under sleeve length but sleeveless under sleeve type. Our samples were short-sleeve tees, so treat the sleeveless entry as a data error and confirm the construction with your agent if it matters.
How many colour options are there really?
More than 40 variant codes, but they collapse into a handful of families: flat and reactive blacks, aged off-whites, washed blacks, stone and deep greys, plus a small pocket group. Several codes are near-duplicates.
